2010 MSCDA Scholarship Info

Eligibility Requirements:

1. You must be a member of MSCDA, with dues paid by December 31, 2009.
2. Dancers must have participated in at least 3 Qualifying MSCDA Events in the last 12 months.  Qualifying Events can be a combination of public performances or fundraising activities.
3. Working in the food booth OR at a competition may be substituted for one performance.
4. For Dance Camp you must be 8 years old.

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNTS

The actual amount of the scholarship awarded depends on the availability of funds in the MSCDA treasury and the number of qualified applicants.  The total amount of scholarships awarded in not to exceed one-third of the MSCDA treasury's end-of-calendar year 2009 fund, or $3,000.

THE 2010 DEADLINE FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS HAS NOT YET BEEN DETERMINED.
