There are several certified teachers in the MSCDA. Between them, there are classes for the new beginner up through the premier/championship levels. There are even classes for adult beginners.

When evaluating a highland dance school, make sure the teachers are certified by one of the three teaching organizations; the Scottish Dance Teachers' Alliance (STDA), the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) or the United Kingdom Alliance (UKA).
